  • For children and families: Parents are often the first to notice differences or challenges in a child’s learning or regulation. These challenges can create stress for the child and affect relationships at home and at school. An assessment can clarify diagnoses and offer options for support at home, with friends, and at school.

    A private assessment report can also be helpful when seeking school-based accommodations (such as a 504 plan, an IEP, or a learning plan), because it specifies what your child needs and helps you advocate for services.

    For adults: Adults seeking an evaluation have often been curious about their functioning for some time. You may feel different from your peers or complete tasks in a different way. Perhaps you’ve learned to compensate, but that effort has led to fatigue or burnout. An evaluation can provide clarity and help you find words for everyday experiences.

  • My fee for a 50-minute therapy appointment is $200.

    The cost of an evaluation varies depending on the age of the client and the scope of the assessment. Assessments typically require 15 to 25+ hours of clinical work, including virtual and in-person appointments, scoring, collateral phone calls, and writing the report.   • My private practice is not currently contracted with insurance companies. I’m happy to provide a Superbill, which is a detailed receipt you can submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement. Coverage for out-of-network services varies by plan, so I recommend checking with your insurer about your benefits.

    Uninsured or self-pay clients have the right to a Good Faith Estimate of expected charges under the No Surprises Act. I will discuss the fees with you, and you can request a Good Faith Estimate at any time.

  • I offer both. In-person appointments take place at my Pasadena office on Mondays and Thursdays. Virtual sessions are available at times throughout the week.
