What is the testing process like?
The testing process usually takes anywhere from 4-6 weeks from beginning to end. Depending on the age and other characteristics of the patient, we may need to schedule certain tests at the start of the day rather than at the end in order to get the best possible picture of their capacities.
For school-aged children, I offer a school observation as part of the testing process and I try to get as much involvement from teachers, aides, therapists, and other collateral patterns as necessary.
